appreciated los barrios, the hotel was modern and nice little to malaga airport. i had neat, outstanding room with a balcony and wifi.

For 4 stars, I expected greater level of services e.g. breakfast was very limited and no drinking water in the room.

Nice remote location away from the hustle & bustle of Algeciras & Gibraltar and yet close enough to Tarifa for our swim across the Straits of Gibraltar.

Excellent room layout, comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom, shower and bath amenities. Nice pool, excellent breakfast included in the price.Easy to get to. Great base for exploring Seville, Jerez, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Marbella/Puerto Banus and Andalucia white villages. We visited en route to Seville from Gibraltar. A very nice surprise for such an excellent price.

The stay for one night was great, I liked how the clean guest room with balconies was arranged, and the overall location and everything here was splendid.

The outskirts location was perfect for us, and our guest room had a balcony and terrace.

we stayed for a night on the way from Tarifa to Granada. It was ok, but there could be a pool bar open to have a late drink.

It's not so easy to find. We asked at a kiosk and they guided us.

Great value for money. Comfortable and clean. Staff was helful and courteous. The location is not that great, but it fitted our purpose which was to stop overnight on the way to la Costa Tropical

Maybe that you need to look for the hotel as it is a new street not listed in GPS.

I recently stayed at a hotel close to my son in Los Barrios, and I absolutely loved my experience at Montera Plaza. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist. The hotel's location was easy to find, and the rooms were spacious and clean, with large bathrooms. I even requested extra pillows, and they were promptly delivered to my room. The continental breakfast offered a great variety of options, and the outside area was perfectly maintained. I really enjoyed my time at Montera Plaza.

This was our 6th or 7th visit to this hotel and we have recommended it to friends as a good plave to stay. We were dissapointed that the restuarant was closed during our visit as there is nowhere else to eat in the area.

One of the major plus points to the hotel is the normally excellent restuarant. This is important as the hotel is somewhat isolated and the nearby village does not have a good place to eat. We were dissapointed to discover that the restuarant was closed due to staff holidays whilst we were there. It would be good if this type of information was made available at time of booking.
